That 70s show

There are many different ways you can pull off the spring 2015 trend of 1970s. I went for a belted poncho, jeans, a floppy hat and over the knees suede boots. Soft, supple and with a hint of 1970s about it, suede was one of the trending materials on the runway. I really like that look because it is also in my old time favorite color of grey.

Shop the look:

Poncho (TopShop store may still have exact one)

Sunglasses are Fendi and they are sold out, but check Fendi boutique for current styles.

50 shades of Grey

I really like monochrome looks. When I wear all grey, all black or all white outfit, I feel pull together and I appear taller. This outfit also gives a hint to current trend of 1970s with its suede boots and a floppy hat. I am carrying Valentino bag which is very similar in shape to popular Celine bags.

Black and White

Black and White trend is not groundbreaking, but what makes this season’s take on this classic color combination interesting, though, are the various textures, patterns, and silhouettes. I love pairing a simple stripes dress from Zara with this gorgeous Giambattista Valli white coat with textured black sleeves (both sold out but below you can find similar products)

I am so happy for this trend to be in style again because there is nothing more I have in my closet as black and white. It is classic, it is stylish, it is sexy. It can be whatever you want it to be.

Sporty Chic

Thank the fashion Gods that are flat shoes and sneakers are now in style. Even French women are running around in dresses and sneakers thanks to Chanel and other luxury designers who made it chic.

My sneakers are from Adidas by Stella McCartney and I bought them few years ago so these exact ones are out of stock, but her sneakers are now in style and you can shop her latest collection here

To complete the look wear them with leather pants and leather jacket (similar), sunglasses are by VB.

PS Last picture is for those who are wondering where are my kids when I take the photoshoots 🙂

Colored Leather

Colored leather trend is huge in 2015, as indicated by many SS 2015 fashion shows. The trend looks playful and luxurious. If you are not a risk taker, you can stick to leather pieces in burgundy, greys and blues. Here’s my take on colored leather, wearing Zara faux leather burgundy dress.

Dress: Zara or similar at Asos

Military Green

Military green trend is one of those recurring trends that is easy to put together. You outfit doesn’t need to blend with the background, you can still stand out by pairing it with great accessories. I paired this jumpsuit with D&G rockstud patent leather bag and belt that I wrapped around my waist and neck. And of course the killer Alexander Mcqueen open toe skull booties.

Ripped Jeans

The essential of the street style these days are ripped jeans.  There are tons of great ripped jeans on the market at various price points. Mine are from Zara. I also like Rag&Bone. But to look chic and not shabby when wearing ripped jeans, I like to pair it with a white blazer. I love this look because it’s so chic and effortless. My jacket is vintage Gianffranco Ferre, I love its unique lazer cut-outs, but any white t-shirt and blazer (see Topshop) would go perfectly with ripped jeans. Valentino rock studs are also a nice touch 😉

Mexico- enjoying the sunrise

I love to travel. Anywhere. Anytime. Travel offers me an opportunity to discover things, to get recharged, to find inspiration. I am an early riser even on vacations, so I really enjoy meeting the sunrise. Here’s one fine morning on my recent trip to sunny Mexico

Croatia – Dubrovnik

When I visited Dubrovnik, Croatia for the first time, I was in awe of the beauty of this city. Its white marble streets and baroque buildings of the old town, the endless shimmer of the Adriatic and beautiful sunsets are all documented in my pictures. The hotel I highly recommend staying in is Grand Villa Argentina.

Italy – Venice

Venice is a city unlike any other. No matter how often you’ve seen it in photos and films, the real thing is more dreamlike than you could imagine. It was very romantic to walk its narrow streets and take gondola rides on Venice canals.
St. Mark’s Square is the most famous and magnificent square of Venice and is probably the most visited attraction in Italy. Here I am on this square wearing Dolce&Gabbana baroque dress and Fendi pumps.
