It’s almost summer so I am getting totally comfortable wearing white looks. One of the classic trends that keeps coming back is the white eyelet dress. This warm-weather style is both ladylike and cool, as well as chic and comfy. It’s time to get your closet ready for summer!

For our family Easter brunch last week I was inspired by many pastel colors of Easter eggs, so got dressed in shades of pink and matching blues for my kids. Many spring kids fashion outfits you can find at JCrew and H&M.

For me I really like the recent trend of sleeveless coats, I think they are versatile and perfect for spring.

Shop my look: Sleeveless coat/ Grey skinny jeans/ Shoes/ Sunglasses / Bag Dior (old)

Boys: Jacket/ Sunglasses/ Sneakers (the most light and comfy sneakers, a must buy!)

Girls: Dress and Jacket by Miss Grant (similar on Yoox Jacket / Dress )

Whether you like your trench coat beige, navy or black, whether you like it fitted or loose, trench coat remains a staple. My favorite is classic beige, belted, knee-length trench coat that I like to wear with jeans and flats for a relaxed look on the weekends and with the classic black dress and pumps for the office.
This look is chic, classic and versatile, and can take you from your desk to a dinner date or drinks any day. Black sheath dress that I paired it with is great for office and is from Banana Republic, see here.
The ultimate trench coat brand of course is Burberry, and you can find a similar to mine at Saks
But there are so many more affordable options out there that look just as good and don’t break your bank.
Here are some recommendations:
Loft $168 (Great store for office attire and they are always running sales)
Missguided  $90 (love this lightweight style)
TopShop $150 (Brits know how to make trench coats)

About location : Every year New York is introduced by freestanding art installations that can be seen throughout the city in parks and other random locations. This year we can admire the colorful glass houses that are displayed around Brooklyn Bridge park. “A colorful glass house fashioned from locally-sourced Plexiglas, this piece drew inspiration from Copenhagen’s ubiquitous garden sheds that sheltered city workers from cramped inner-city living conditions”.

About my look: Camel coat or cape is a must trend of the season, it is so versatile and perfect for New York ever changing weather. You can find it at very reasonable price at Zara (sold out online, but may available in stores) or Asos or Nordstrom. To complete the look I really love these vegan leather pants and booties, as seen in my previous posts here and here.

Accessories: Sunglasses / Hat Takori / Bag Miu Miu

Dover Street Market is multilevel fashion concept store created by designers of Japanese fashion label Comme des Garcons. Walking through Dover Street Market is like walking through contemporary art museum. This place proves that Fashion is Art. The cloth displays and art installations are very unique and inspirational. If you are looking for high end designer or upcoming designer pieces that are very unique but very pricey, that’s the place. Even if you won’t buy anything there it’s a fun place for window shopping.

The sleeveless light blue coat that I am wearing on top of my grid pant suit from Zara is by new talented designer Andrea Jiapei Li, who just graduated from Parsons School of Design. This is one of the kind, avant garde piece that I don’t believe is sold online, but her creations can be found in this store, so go check it.

Shop the look: Pants / Shirt / Bag

Spring is finally here!!! Transition time between the seasons can be challenging, especially if you are in New York, it is cold in the morning, it is suddenly hot in the afternoon. As a solution, I own a light coat in pretty much every color. The color and kimono style of this coat is refreshing and trendy. You can get this coat at Asos.

My beautiful background is a new installation at recently renovated Winter Garden in World Financial Center : “Soft Spin is a sound and sculptural installation designed for the Winter Garden. The work features six large-scale fabric forms gracefully swirling overhead, emanating the sounds of voices in song. Curvaceous hemlines, sundrenched bursts of color and playful tunes invite viewers to look up and embrace the unexpected”

Enjoy the colors of spring!
